Gorge at George, WA Saturday June 2,2007 7:45 PM-8:44 PM BEN FOLDS Set list follows. (Temperature while on Stage 90 degrees! and the entire band was wearing long pants...that had to be rough!)

1. Gone

2. Bastard (he broke a nail and taped it shortly after ending the tune).

3. All you can eat.

4. Still fighting it.

5. Jesusland (used that strange small red keyboard halfway thru it to alter the tune a bit...very funny).

6. I've got you to Thank.

7.Landed

8. Bitches aint S**t ....Talked a bit about Brown notes...etc...well you know the deal...10 Hertz and all...

9. Narcolepsy (complete with a few brownnotes thrown in with that little red Nord II keyboard he has next to his baldwin baby grand) ...its funny because after he played "Narcolepsy" with all the brownnotes I swear about a quarter of the crowd had to get up and use the restroom.

10. Such great heights (postal service cover)

11. Kate (after this tune I think he thanked the crowd for "listening while they were getting up to buy hotdogs") ...guess you had to be there this was funny too..

12. Not the same...with crowd doing the Aahhhs...chorus and all while he was on top of the baby grand. Almost immediately after they left the stage a bunch of roadies dressed in black t-shirts swarmed the stage and packed up the equipment.

I stayed to listen to about 3 of John Mayers tunes (I bought my $75 ticket and drove 160 miles to and fro the arena mainly to see Ben. Anyhow I left after John played "No Such thing"...and gave my ticket (a pretty good seat 15th row where I had clear sight of Ben's Piano Key Action) to one of the young girls who was in the cheaper general admission seats. She screamed with delight as I told her "I came to see Ben Fold's ...John Mayer is good but I just don't have the time to see the whole show as I had to drive back home 160 miles so I could show up for work at 7AM the next morning. It was WIN-WIN as she enjoyed drooling over John Mayer from a close 15 th row seat while I beat the exit rush traffic on my way home from the show.

I didn't buy the $25 concert shirt as it had "I "heart" Ben Folds before he sucked" in huge letters on it and I think my wife would have thought my "MAN crush" on Ben Folds might be getting out of hand...like I was thinking about "playing for the other team or something"...not that there is anything wrong with that as Jerry Seinfield would say.
